Stop to notice the roadrunner
At your feet… pecking. Swiftly
Many walk on, not noticing.But if you stand still, listen:
The rain is falling, the sun is talking-
Hot and heavy, the cacti blossoms,
People are shaking handsAnd the roadrunner is you.
